Dog Days....

Well it seems the kids aren't the only ones growing like crazy around here. Our dog has surpassed even them. When we got Hunter, he was a shy little pupppy, who wanted nothing more than to lay on our laps and take long naps. Our sweet little 8 pound puppy has turned into a 50 pound brute of a dog! Although he is still a puppy, he wont be one for much longer. Right now, I am just very thankful that my kids don't grow as fast as he does. :-)

Always something...

Today has been such a whirlwind of a day...
It started with an early morning, we all headed out to go riding with friends. But of course, the morning of our ride we wake up to two inches of snow! Yuck! We decided to go anyway lol (bad idea) It ended with cold, crying 3 year olds. Which I do not blame them one bit, it was 29 degrees!
The afternoon did not end on a better note. AJ's family lost a very dear friend today. It breaks my heart to lose someone, but at such a young age, with a growing family, is just terrible. I am keeping them in my thoughts and prayers. And hugging my husband a little tighter tonight, because I never know if the morning I forget to tell him "I love you" will be my last.
Rest In Peace Dustin

Keeping up with the Baldwins

Well the boys' just left to go on another "four four" ride. Adley and his cousin Wesley are absolutely obsessed with our new Razr 4. Which I am not very surprised, their daddys' are very obsessed also. This has turned into the new family favorite lol
Poor Jaydyn gets to stay home with me. She wasnt too upset, because she gets to give mommy a manicure. For 2 years old, this little lady is pretty darn good at painting nails. I had always hoped for a girl, but I got the complete opposite of me when I was a little girl. I was the typical tomboy little girl, obsessed with horses and everything that entailed. Jaydyn is the epitome of a girly girl. She is the dress-wearing, nail-painting, barbie-loving little girl that I never was. So having her in my life is a true joy, and new experience nontheless. I love you baby girl!

A Year Of Many Firsts

Another year has officially started. And it is shaping up to be a very wonderful one! We just made it home from our Wyoming trip for Christmas. It was so amazing to be around family, and to welcome a few more people into our ever-growing brood.
I was able to meet my baby sister for the first time, and seeing my little brother was so uplifting. I cannot wait to watch them grow up.
AJ starts his new job at Cementation next week, and while we are very apprehensive about this change, we are also very excited!
And, onto the most exciting note (at least in my opinion) Adley has decided he wants to be potty trained today! He peed in the potty 8 times and only had 1 accident. Actually, he didnt even want to wear a pull-up for bed. Momma is so proud of you baby!
So, I guess you could say this year is going to be a crazy, ever-changing and wonderful year. And I cannot wait to see what it has to bring!
